BIG BANDA is a new informal organization, where the arts merge in each other. A platform for experimentation, sharing and developing in a range of practices that articulate visual and sound dimensions in the creative process. BIG BANDA artists performs a total covering creative live acts through convergence, including new technologies and different classic medias. Performances are based on the interrelations between music and visual art and their sensory conjunction, leading to the phenomenon of synaesthesia. BIG BANDA accept the paradigm of post-digtal world, where digital and physical elements are blended together and high technologies are no longer fascinating to be used as an artistic expression, but as a bridge between digital space and reality.
The mission of BIG BANDA aims to impact others to think about the relationship of arts to contemporary culture and to develop the scene for new artistic genres. BIG BANDA also has a related music label, based in Sofia and supports imaginative young people who are working in the sphere of arts and culture.
