Sofia International Book Fair

The Sofia International Book Fair will be held from 10th to 15th December at the National Palace of Culture. This year’s edition of the largest book forum in Bulgaria will impress its visitors with its scale, introducing more than 200 exhibitors, dozens of Bulgarian and foreign authors, three scenes and four floors, filled with books.

Guest of honour is Moscow, presenting itself with a unique stand and a separate scene, dedicated to Russian culture.

Within Sofia’s International Fair, the first Sofia International Literary Festival will take place. This year it is dedicated to literature on the Balkans. Mramorno foaiye in the National Palace of Culture will be a gathering place for authors, the public and representatives from seven Balkan countries, which will demonstrate how literature overcomes barriers.

The fair’s accompanying culture program will be taking place every day at a special literature area on the 3^rd floor of the National Palace of Culture.
